8.2% Imperial India Pale Ale
The final beer from my three beer box ordered from Cloudwater which included two collabs with Other Half, this one being the only solo Cloudwater effort. The label is a beautiful thing, I love wooden cross sections, as you can tell by the majority of my photos. What lies inside though?
Pours like orange juice - thick and jammed to the brim with proteins.
Aroma is huge, sweet stone fruits turning into almost jammy berries. Pine resin and a light earthiness is present.
The mouthfeel is silky smooth, bolstered by oats and that 8.2% alcohol by volume. Those peach and apricot aromas are very prominent in the flavour as well as a lingering bitterness. Not as heavy as the Imaginary Greenscapes collab, but it's definitely there. Slight alcohol burn which may dissipate with time, this one is very fresh.
This one is still available on the Cloudwater website, and possibly in your local bottleshop!
