7.0% Peach and Vanilla Saison I ADORE the idea of the Patrons Projects, a "collaboration of creativity and community between artists, athletes and creatives". Sounds perfect to me, let's see what the can holds. Pours a pale straw colour, slightly hazy with some sediment in the bottom of the can. Aroma smells typically Belgian, some grassiness with a spicy edge and lots of sweetness presumably from the peach, vanilla and lactose added. Head quickly dissipates due to highly effervescent body. Body is fairly thick, sweet from lactose. Peach is complimented by other soft stones fruits like apricot and light plums. Finishes like typical Belgian ale, dry and slightly bitter which balances out the sweetness. This one if from my local bottle shop, House of Trembling Madness - although they are available on online bottle stores. Cheers!
